If you've read any of my other tutorials, you'll know that I prefer to use silver solder, even when working with copper. This is due to copper solder being more brittle than silver solder, as well as the fact that it isn't really copper in color. Since I always end up copper-plating my copper pieces anyway, it makes more sense to use the silver solder, especially since it is easier to work with than the copper solder.
