When you buy a typical steel forming block (sometimes call a bending block) the triangle slot(s) will fit the top of the triangle wire, leaving you free to stamp the BOTTOM of the wire… What good is that! The cut/angle of the groove is such that you can’t lay the triangle wire on its side so you can actually stamp the sides of the wire that will be seen.
Enter stamp and tool maker extraordinaire Danny Wade. A couple of years ago he told me he had made a new jig for stamping triangle wire. I KNEW I had to have one. It was everything I’d hoped for.
